Operation process of container shipping export business

1.Inquiry

1)Receive inquiries from customers, know names, freight clause, container shape, estimated date of delivery, send the selling price to customers depends on above information.

2)Confirming the price with sales and the fright space with booking company at the first time if there is no freight rates to go on at the port the customer requested.

3)Replying the ship company and freight rate to the customer and enquire the shipment of the customer further. Introducing other special lines of our company to the customers and leave the contact information of the customer and the name of goods, convenient for business contact in the future.

2.Order receiving

4)Freight and payment clause

5)Confirming with customers if loading in terminal

6)Time of loading, contract information and address of owner of goods

3.Booking

Booking from ship company, receive the booking receipt from ship company, pick name of ship, voyage, B/L No., information of terminal, CY cutoff time and SI cutoff time from the booking receipt and input them into the ERP system to output the receiving notice, mark freight, CY cutoff time and SI cutoff time on the receiving notice, send the receiving notice to the customer and confirm the loading time.

4.Operating

1)Loading. Confirm the detailed address, contacts, and also confirm the truck charges with the customer, send goods to be loaded 1 or 2 days before the CY cutoff time.

2)Tracking the truck team at the day of loading, ensure that the loading is in time and keep tracking until the container unloaded in on the terminal.

3)Checking the receiving report according to the time of cargo concentration in port.

4)Check information like container numbers, tare weight and seal numbers, send the collated documents for customs declaration to customs broker at the same time, and also tell the freight and CY cutoff time to them. Confirm all the details of commercial inspection, receipt and entry-exit if commercial inspection is required.

5)Confirm with details of assorting and notify the terminal and the ship company by writing, if assorting is necessary.

6)Check custom release and ETAD after clearance.

7)Tracking ETD.

5.Confirming of B/L

Confirming the B/L before the SI cutoff, archive the final edition confirmed by customers. The letter of guarantee should be required when the B/L is telex released or anti-dated.

6. Signing
